Cortest has developed a new In-Situ LVDT Direct Displacement Measurement system. This family of patented displacement measurement assemblies measure directly at the specimen and translate that displacement mechanically to LVDTs outside the pressure boundary of the Autoclaves. It was designed as alternative to clip on gauges that cannot handle high pressure, high temperature, corrosive, combustible environments and external LVDT measurement systems that have inaccuracies due to load frame compliance. Our new In-Situ displacement measuring assemblies address these problems, all while removing all electronics from inside the pressure boundary, eliminating the chance for spark.
