Electrochemical Instruments and Probes for HPHT Corrosion Testing

Cortest offers advanced electrode solutions for High Temperature and High Pressure (HTHP) electrochemical applications inside Autoclaves. Our standard internal electrode kit includes a reference electrode, a working electrode holder assembly, a counter electrode holder assembly, and installation fittings.

Our standard Ag/AgCl reference electrode is rated for 300°C and up to 5,000 PSI. Standard construction includes a 316 S.S. or C-276 Outer tube with PTFE inner tube. The working electrode is often a customer supplied specimen that is coupled utilizing the supplied working electrode holder. The counter electrode assembly is comprised of a PtNb electrode and counter electrode holder. Working and counter electrode holder assemblies can be rated for up to 360°C.

For special applications requiring temperatures up to 360°C, a Pd/H2 reference electrode is available.  It can be ordered with a flange connection or a threaded connection as required.
