Friction & Wear Testing

Custom Systems for Friction, Wear, and Material Durability Testing

Custom Friction, Wear, and Galling Systems for material testing in High Temperature, High Pressure (HPHT) Autoclave Environments.

Cortest has partnered with laboratories around the world to commission equipment for use with ASTM G77, ASTM G98, ASTM G99, ASTM G196, and custom test specifications. While many of these test specifications are designed for open air testing, we are able to adapt these tests to work inside Autoclave Environments and have even paired them with our Circulating Flow Loops. Our software controls both linear and rotary motion and can collect data from load cells, torque transducers, and linear displacement transducers to log, display, and analyze test data in real time.
