Jet Impingement Systems

Jet Impingement Systems use concentric ring electrodes to measure shear stress on test samples to conduct flow studies with less space requirements than traditional Flow Loop Systems. These systems can be used to test the effectiveness of corrosion inhibitors as well as to study flow effects on the corrosion of materials.

Jet Impingement Systems include a large Autoclave for solution preparation, a smaller impingement test cell with impingement probe, a positive displacement pump, and a Coriolis flow meter to measure flow rates. Other components such as a liquid delivery system and a magnetic stirrer can be added as well. The entire system is controlled from a touch screen interface that can be mounted on the stand itself or nearby. The system can be configured to allow independent use of the larger autoclave to allow for additional test methods.
