3 & 4 Point Bend Fixtures

Bend Fixtures apply constant stress to a sample by deflecting it with a constant loading apparatus for an extended period of time. While maintaining stress on the sample, Bend Fixtures are placed in a corrosive environment within a Hydrogen Induced Cracking (HIC) Tank or Autoclave for testing.

Our Bend Fixtures conform to ASTM G39 and NACE TM0177 – Method B. Loading Fixtures can be included to simplify the deflection measurement and test setups. All Cortest fixtures are manufactured from Hastelloy C-276 material for corrosion resistance superior to stainless steels.
